Dani Wilson is the founder of The Learning Academy of Teton Valley and a dedicated Lower Elementary teacher with over 25 years of experience in alternative, child-centered education. Her vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment to nurturing the whole child have shaped LATV into the thriving, joyful learning community it is today. In 2024, Dani was honored as one of Idaho’s Women of Influence—recognition of her transformative impact on education and her continued efforts to create meaningful, student-first learning environments.

Miss Dani Wilson, owner and founder of the Learning Academy

At LATV, Todd wears many hats: bus driver, handyman, critter catcher—whatever needs doing, he’s there to help. Beyond the school, Todd is a full-time artisan plasterer who has been plastering homes throughout Teton Valley and Jackson for over 25 years, bringing craftsmanship and care to every project.

Todd grew up in Ogden, Utah, where his childhood was filled with exploring the outdoors, rock hounding, and fossil hunting—passions that continue to shape his love for nature and adventure.

When the workday ends, Todd can often be found on the front porch with Dani, his wife and the love of his life, watching their grandchildren play among their ever-growing collection of small animals. A devoted mountain man reenactor, Todd eagerly anticipates the annual rendezvous with his extended family. He also enjoys escaping into a good fantasy novel—especially when camping beneath a canopy of stars.

The Learning Academy is incredibly fortunate to have Todd’s hands-on creativity, steadfast support, and big heart behind the scenes, making the magic happen every day.

Welcome to The Learning Academy of Teton Valley! We are honored that you are considering our school for your child’s educational journey. Located in Driggs, Idaho, our campus serves students from preschool through eighth grade and offers a nature-based, individualized learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, create, and grow at their own pace.
