We will have our traditional Thanksgiving Feast on Friday, November 22nd. The preschool feast will be from 10:45-11:45am. The TK-7 feast will be from 12:30-1:30pm. This is a potluck event and all parents are welcome to join us. Please send your child to school with a side dish or dessert of your choice when you drop them off on Friday and we’ll cover the turkey! All families, including our Tuesday/Thursday preschoolers, are welcome to attend the feast. We will have a sign-up available for the potluck, look for an email to come home soon. Thank you!

Healthy Living and Learning
Thank you for not sending sugary snacks (cookies, candy, etc.) in your child’s school lunch. We appreciate you helping them have behavioral and learning success while they are here with us!

School Cancellation Policy
We do not follow the public school cancellation policy. We cancel in the event that the wind chill drops below -30, there are impassable roads, or other dangerously inclement weather. An emergency text will be sent in the event of a cancellation, late entry, or early pick-up. You can also Local News 8, our Facebook page, or your email.

Warm Clothing/Inside Shoes/Winter Clothes Bag
Please send students to school in proper outdoor attire (the big 5 – hat, mittens, snow pants, warm jacket, and snow boots) for these cold mornings and with one pair of slippers or “inside shoes” that can stay at school to wear after removing snow boots. Please send all snow clothes in a separate bag for easy access and please label all belongings. Thank you for taking home and drying your child’s snow clothes each night.

Parent/Teacher Conferences & Report Cards
TK-7 Conferences will be held the weeks before and after our Thanksgiving break; your child’s teacher will be in touch with you to schedule your conference. Report cards will be distributed at that time.

Scholastic Book Fair
We will hold our annual holiday book fair from November 11-15. This is a great opportunity to buy holiday gift books at a great price and support our school at the same time. The more money our fair makes, the more books our school receives and we can earn our buy-one-get-one fair in the spring!

Amazon Smile
If you can’t find what you need locally, did you know that you could choose The Learning Academy of Teton Valley as the beneficiary of your Amazon.com purchases? The school receives .05% of all purchases on Amazon Smile. Visit https://smile.amazon.com to sign up.
