2019-20 ENROLLMENT
Enrollment is currently ongoing until classes are full, at which time waiting lists will be started. Financial aid applications must be completed by February 15th. Please have your commitment in to the office before February 15th in order to receive grandfathered tuition. We are looking forward to another fantastic year!

**We understand that the SSS Portal for financial aid applications is experiencing an issue. Hopefully this will be resolved soon. If this problem persists, we will extend our due date for financial aid applications. Please proceed with enrollment documents so that we can add your child to their prospective class list. Thanks for your understanding.

SPREAD THE WORD!
If you have had a positive experience at The Learning Academy, please spread the word. Our families are, and always have been, the best advertisement for us. THANK YOU!

OPEN HOUSE/VISITING DAY
The Learning Academy will host a visiting day on Friday, February 15th. This will be held during our regular school day from 8:30am-3:00pm. Prospective families will have the opportunity to talk with teachers, tour classrooms and visit with students. If your student has an LATV shirt, we’d love if they could wear it to show our school spirit. If you know of anyone interested in our school, the public school is not in session and students are welcome to spend the day with us.

VALENTINE’S DAY MAD HATTER TEA PARTY
We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with our annual Mad Hatter tea party on Thursday, February 14th at 1:30pm. Send your child to school with their favorite silly hat and in their best tea party outfit! Please have your child make a valentine for each of their classmates. Class lists are attached. MWF preschoolers, please bring your cards with you on Wednesday if you’re able and your child will receive theirs on Friday.

NO SCHOOL/SPRING BREAK
There will be no school on Monday, February 18th in honor of President’s Day. Also, an early reminder that our spring break is March 22-April 2. School is out Thursday, March 21st at 3pm and students will return to school on Tuesday, April 3rd. There will be no aftercare on Thursday, March 21st.

TK-8 ICE RINK VISIT
We have another field trip to the Kotler Ice Arena planned for Friday, February 22nd from 10:00am-11:30am. The cost of this field trip is $5 per student and include rentals, if needed. Students are required to bring a helmet.

SPRING SOCIAL – March 1, 2019 at Teton Springs 6-10pm
We are currently accepting donated items for our 7th Annual LATV Spring Social Auction and Raffle. This is an awesome evening out for parents (ticket cost includes childcare at Teton Springs!), a great way to win some incredible things, and the biggest fundraiser for our school’s curriculum, learning tools and programs. In the past donated items have included: restaurant gift cards, hotel stays, golf, whitewater trips, ski passes, pool passes, art, scenic flights, hot air balloon rides, wildlife tours, outdoor gear, massages, spa days, hair cuts, and so much more. If you are able to help us procure any of these, please let us know. We have tax deduction receipts and thank you cards available in the office. Thank you so much! Tickets for the event are available for $35/each in the office, or $40/each at the door. Tickets include dinner and childcare.

BE KIND – STICK TOGETHER AGAINST BULLYING
Our students are participating in an event sponsored by Duck Tape brand duct tape and Project LOVE. Its theme is “Be Kind – Stick Together Against Bullying”. Students will watch a video about the trickle down effects of kindness and will then write their name on a piece of duct tape and stick it to our pledge banner. We welcome all of our parents to join us, come in and add your name to our banner! J
